Day 20- Someone you see yourself marrying/ being with in the future

If you don’t know where the quote above is from, we cannot be friends.  Okay, but seriously…

Like most girls (and some guys) I know, I’ve thought about what my ideal wedding would look like.  I’ve pictured my dream dress and the perfect setting for a quick painless ceremony (because we all know the reception is where it’s really at).  I’ve thought about having a night I’ll always remember with all my loved ones celebrating the vows we’ve made to a life together.  And yes, I’ve pinned ideas to my Pinterest boards in hopes that I won’t forget when the day comes when I can start planning said event.

The one thing missing from all of this was always the man.  I could never picture of imagine who I’d be blessed to spend the rest of my life with.  It’s sort of like that saying that people don’t exist until you meet them.

At the very least, I know this much:

He will be smart, witty, and incredibly patient (he has to be to deal with me!).  I will always be impressed with the talents he doesn’t even know he possesses, and he will constantly challenge me.  He will be caring and he will be a fantastic father, even if he doesn’t know it at first.  He will get along with my friends… which means he’d better know how to drink, have fun, and take the occasional adventurous trip!  He will have a sense of humor and he will always be attractive in my eyes.

But these traits are not all that unique.  In fact, many of my friends can be said to already satisfy a good portion of the list.  This man will have something that sets him apart.  I don’t know what it is, but there will have to be something more.  I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
