On my post-happy hour stroll, I accidentally stumbled upon the Kitson Outlet on 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, and even though I swore not to shop, I couldn’t help but look. I’m not a Kitson fan, but if I could find some pieces that were affordable, I’d be more than happy to pick some up. And so I did! Check out how I managed to snag over $250 for under $100!

Mia “Diva” maroon patent leather pumps
Original price: $68
Kitson outlet: $34 (50% off)
I originally fell in love with half the L.A.M.B. & Marc Jacobs shoes there, but even with the steep discount, could not afford them. Then I found a beautiful, sexy pair of Jill Stuart black patent leather platform pumps. I kept my fingers crossed as I checked the price on the bottom – $228. Unfortunately, that was not going to work with my budget, so I kept looking. Luckily, I found a cheaper alternative and lots of other deals. |

Kitson “Prima Donna” athletic shoes
Original price: $65
Kitson outlet: $20 (69% off)
Next, I started thinking that I should really pick up shoes that 1) I could wear every day, and 2) that were not flip-flops. So I took another twirl around the shoe room, and found some Converse-esque kicks. I figured, they weren’t really my style, but they were pretty conservative for Kitson. I could work with ‘em! |
Browsing the rest of the store, I recognized some pieces I saw about a year ago that I liked, but didn’t want to pay full price for.

Quartz bracelet
Original price: $48
Kitson outlet: $9 (81% off) |
(I also picked up some trinkets for others, but I’m not posting pics because I’d like for it to be a surprise.)
I actually had to leave a LOT of shoes and didn’t even really look at real clothes (didn’t feel like digging through piles of jeans, and the tees were cute, retro-80s, but not really a bargain at $15). I’d say it’s worth a visit if you are stylistically flexible and want to save a few dollars. Like most discount shopping, it does take time and you must shop with an open mind. But if you can, there are many bargains (and beautiful shoes) to be had!
